Personal Goal: "To be the very best that you can be".
Behavior Expectations:
- Each teacher will discuss with their class, on the first day of school, their own class rules – clear and concise.
- If a student chooses to disobey the rules, he/she is choosing to suffer the consequences.
- Consequences could include a timeout, a change in seating, a loss of a privilege, additional homework, a call home or a detention.
- If the unacceptable behavior continues, the student may be sent to the Counselor or Principal's Office where an appropriate consequence will be given.
- If a student causes injury to another student, a staff member or themselves, the student will be sent directly to the Principal.
Examples of Unacceptable Behavior:
- lying
- stealing
- disrupting the class so other students cannot learn
- destroying school property
- hitting other students, fighting or bullying
- showing disrespect to a staff member
